Otários são os seus amigos que compram sem pesquisar antes e depois ficam falando merda. Ainda mais hoje em dia com tantas revistas, internet... (nos USA tem uns 5 ou 6 foruns só de Buell) Como os caras compram sem saber o que estão comprando ?

Quem curte moto, gosta de rodar, de correr, de fazer curvas, de curtir... não se decepciona. Aliás, quem gosta de moto se diverte com qualquer uma, até de 125cc.
E vai falar que o quadro, freio, aerokip, tanque, escape etc... não são soluções modernas e revolucionárias ?
O seu problema é que vc acha que todo mundo tem que gostar da mesma coisa. Tem quem gosta de velocidade, tem quem gosta de estabilidade, tem quem gosta de conforto etc... Nenhuma moto conegue aliar todas as qualidades então cada um seja feliz com a que gosta. (até vc com essa Cb velha)
Eles pesquisaram...80% do pessoal falou que nao. E algums meses depois, la estava o anuncio de venda das Buell.
E nao so na reta que elas decepcionam. Pega qualquer 600 Racing Replica moderna com um piloto decente (nao os bracoes que correm em Interlagos) e vai ver como deixam longe a tua Buell. Ou pega uma motard, ou alguma "hooligan bike" (Hypermotard, Dorsoduro, Duke, KTM SMR, ou ate uma Husky 610) para ver como fica humilhada nas curvas tambem.
Voce diz que sao solucoes modernas e revolucionarias? Quantas corridas tem ganhado a Buell?
E a minha CB velha e mais confiavel do que muitas Buell, e ademais e minha motinho de andar no dia a dia

Vc tá comparando com motos que custam o dobro... Lógico que uma Buell não se compara a uma R1, CBR, GSX etc... Mas tbém não custa a mesma coisa né !
Para qualquer moto sempre existirão outras melhores.

Não acho que a Buell é a melhor moto do mundo, não sou chiita de nenhuma marca. Só não aceito nego falar o que não sabe.
Pelo preço da Buell no Brasil ela é um excelente custo x benefício. Vc pode andar no dia a dia, em estrada em serras e ainda tem o valor agregado que são os Track days.
Pelo preço nos USA, só um louco ou com MUITA $ sobrando compraria (custa quase o mesmo que uma R1 !

Nos USA existe uma copa exclusiva para V2 e as Buells dominam completamente
Tbém tem uma 1125R correndo no Superbike canadense (com R1, GSX etc...) A moto correu 3 ou 4 provas toda original (até os pneus) ficou uma em 3º e ganhou uma.

East Troy, WI -- (Monday, December 01, 2008) Racers competing on Buell motorcycles in North America claimed eight national and 22 regional road racing titles and won numerous races during the 2008 season. Buell racers also earned a record payout in cash contingency from the $1.2 million Buell Racer Appreciation Contingency Effort (RACE) program.
Proulx Wins Canadian Sport Twins National Championship
Harley-Davidson/Buell of Ottawa rider Jim Proulx won five of seven races aboard a Buell XB12R to take the 2008 Canadian Sport Twins championship, part of the professional Parts Canada Superbike Series. Proulx finished second in the two events he did not win. Second place in Canadian Sport Twins went to Deeley H-D/Buell Canada/Ruthless Racing rider Olivier Spilborghs, also on a Buell XB12R. Deeley H-D/Buell/Ruthless Racing rider Dave Estok finished third in the Canadian Thunder national championship aboard a Buell 1125R.
James Gang/Hoban Brothers Racing Takes ASRA Team Challenge National Title
James Gang/Hoban Brothers Racing riders Paul James and Jeff Johnson rode a Harley-Davidson/Buell of Appleton-sponsored Buell XB12R to win the 2008 ASRA Team Challenge GT Lights (GTL) class national championship. The team won the GTL class at three of the five 2-hour Team Challenge endurance events it entered in 2008, and finished with 152 points to lead the second-place Shakka 4 Life Suzuki team by 40 points.
Orloff Wins AHRMA Battle of Twins F2 National Championship
Wes Orloff rode his Eagle H-D/Buell and H-D/Buell of Elk Grove-sponsored Buell XB12R to five victories and the national title in the AHRMA Battle of Twins Formula 2 national championship. He also won the AHRMA Masters of the Midwest regional title in Battle of Twins Formula 2.
Buell Riders Take Five National CCS Titles at 25th Annual Race of Champions
Buell riders won five MotoSport.com Championship Cup Series (CCS) national championships during the 25th Annual Race of Champions at Daytona International Speedway. Deeley H-D/Buell Canada/Ruthless Racing rider Dave Estok won the Expert Lightweight Superbike championship on a Buell XB12R. Ray Price Harley-Davidson/Buell rider Carl (Jerry) Reid Jr. rode a Buell XB12R to win titles in the Amateur Lightweight Superbike, Amateur Lightweight GP and Amateur GT Lights classes. Hal’s Harley-Davidson/Buell rider Joel Spaulding won the Amateur Thunderbike title, also on a Buell XB12R.
Buell Riders Win Four ASRA Pro Thunderbike Races
Four different Buell XB12R riders won a race during the 2008 American Sportbike Racing Association (ASRA) Pro Thunderbike National Championship season. Deeley H-D/Buell Canada/Ruthless Racing rider Dave Estok finished second in ASRA Thunderbike season points. Estok, the 2007 ASRA Thunderbike champion, won the season-ending race at Daytona International Speedway and was on the podium at five other events on the eight-race Thunderbike schedule. Hal’s H-D/Buell rider Dan Bilansky finished third in season points, with a win in May at Summit Point and three other podium appearances. Bison Racing/Eagle H-D/Buell rider Walt Sipp won at Heartland Park-Topeka and was fourth in season points. Harley-Davidson/Buell of Frederick rider Bryan Bemisderfer won the September race at Summit Point. BMW rider Nate Kern won the championship.
Buell Teams Third in Two SunTrust MOTO-ST Championship Classes
Buell teams battled for two championships until the final round of the seven-race 2008 SunTrust MOTO-ST national endurance series. Shawn Higbee, Michael Barnes and Steve Crevier rode the Bruce Rossmeyer’s Daytona Racing No. 8 Buell 1125R to wins at Road America and Heartland Park-Topeka in the premier Buell Motorcycle Company SuperSport Twins (SST) class, and were on the podium at three other races. The team, entered by Richie Morris Racing, scored 204 points and finished third in the season standings, behind the No. 1 Aprilia USA/Lloyd Brothers Motorsports (225 points) and the No. 75 Touring Sport Ducati (207 points).
James Gang/Hoban Brothers Racing Buell riders Jeff Johnson, Paul James and Walt Sipp raced the No. 70 Buell XB12R sponsored by H-D/Buell of Appleton to six consecutive MOTO-ST GrandSport Touring (GST) podiums. The team led the championship at the midpoint of the season and was in the hunt for the title through the 8 Hours at Daytona finale on Oct. 18. James Gang/Hoban Brothers Racing finished third in GST with 208 points, behind the No. 77 Touring Sport Ducati (212 points) and the No. 69 Rights for Bikers Ducati (209 points). Buell finished second in GST manufacturer points.
