Vc nao tem ideia de quantos europeus vem para os EUA e alugam H-D para andar. Elas sao muito caras na Europa por isso nao vendem mais.
Agora com relacao a V-Max, sempre vendeu muito bem ate 2002-2003 quando comecou a sair o comentario que a nova estaria a caminho. A moto nova esta vendendo relativamente bem (considerando o preco "premium" dela) e ainda existe muito mercado para o modelo antigo.
Drag bike aqui e' popular. Agora logicamente vai depender do valor que a Ducati vai pedir pela motoca. Se for na faixa da VMAX pra cima, acho que os americanos vao de Yamaha. Se for abaixo tem chance de vender bem, mas eu nao acredito que va' ser o caso.

Bonita, mas a V-Max ainda é mais fodástica no desenho. Essa Ducati achei muito "clean", parece protótipo.

As duas são lindas, mas gostei mais da Ducati. Tem mais cara de "monstrinha". A V-Max, apesar de ser linda, me lembra uma custom bombada.

After months of speculation and spy photography the long wait is almost over, the Diavel will make its first public appearance at the EICMA International Motorcycle Show in Milan 2-7 November.
Officially announcing the new model's name ahead of the official presentation, the famous Italian manufacturer is about to turn another dream into reality, using the local Bolognese dialect word for "devil" in naming their new model Diavel - pronounced Dee-ah-vel.
The idea for the name was born early in the development process of the bike, when the prototype was assembled and wheeled out in front of a group of Ducati engineers and technicians for the first time. One person looking from the rear of the bike saw its silhouette and exclaimed in Bolognese dialect: "Ignurànt comm' al diavel!" Meaning: "Evil, like the devil!"

Reminiscent of how the "Monster" was named 20 years ago, the Diavel is now destined to follow the same Bolognese tradition, shaping the future of motorcycling while staying faithful to its heritage.
Built to have a commanding presence, though lightweight and agile like all Ducatis, the Diavel will take the man-motorcycle relationship to the next level in absolute comfort. Achei estranha, acho que é preciso me acostumar com o estilo, para mim que sou fã de nakeds, mas de maneira nenhuma é feia, remete alguma coisa com uma Night Rod talvez...

Geralmente esses "power cruisers" tipo V-Max, VROD, etc...terminam sendo fracassos. Se a V-Max nova custa perto de 20 mil$, gostaria de ver o preco que vao pedir por esta Diavel. E uma moto de nicho, e MUITO pequeno.
A Cayenne somente explorou a fascinacao de gringo de ter SUV. E ainda mas uma SUV Porsche. Mas quem sao o 90% dos donos de Cayenne? Mulheres.
Aqui no Brasil não é vero, muito caro, é carro de poucos ricos, maioria homens...

Até que gostei da primeira foto quando ela ainda não tinha cara de DUCATI.
Depois que ela recebeu a "farda" DUCATI, ficou feinha.

Não vi graça nenhuma na moto. Farol quase redondo e não há nada no design dela que me chamou a atenção, um design muito antigo. A V-max nova tem um contranste de linhas antigas e design futurista.
